ON TO A FEW WEEKS WORTH OF 45s OF VARIOUS TYPES!! This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1966 U.S. CONDA RECORDS 45 (NOT THE RECENT 'GARAGE GREATS' REPRO) containing the 1960s garage classics titled 'Baby'/'Love, Love, Love' from Florida garage band The Tasmanians. It is Conda Records U.S. catalog number 101, green labels with black print. My understanding is that this 45 is a 'holy grail' type item of which only a few copies are known to exist. A survey in Popsike of previous eBay sales of this 45 shows that the last original press copy to be offered on eBay came up on eBay over a year ago, and that this 45 has never sold for less than the opening bid price in this auction, even in substantially lesser condition than the copy on offer here. Condition of record is a high VG with a moderate amount of surface marks, none of which can be felt and none of which affect play, and a very few surface scratches which can be felt and which cause a few scattered ticks, mainly after the end of the music on the A-side, no skips - Record plays through very nicely at a mid VG+ level with a little bit of light scattered surface noise and the aforementioned few ticks, mainly after the end of the music on the A-side. Labels have some contact wear, no other real problems. This extremely rare 'holy grail' 45 would be a crowning addition to any 1960s garage 45 record collection!
