Description

Reiner & The CSO -
SPAIN -
Chesky RC9 Audiophile Pressing of Rca LSC-2230 -
Recommended by TAS

One of the real treasures in the Living Stereo catalog, this disc features the music of Granados, Falla, and Albeniz in this 1962 Mohr/Layton recording triumph that captured Reiner and the CSO at their best.

Of note in any of the Chesky pressings is the fact that he works from the original masters and completely bypasses a mixing console and equalizers to obtain the purest transfer possible, strictly using tube equipment from beginning to end in the audio chain.

This copy is like new: Jacket without fault; record near mint, perhaps better.

A terrific audiophile re-issue, worthy of the finest vinyl library.
