Description
Up for auction is the Tania Maria (with Boto and Helio) lp “Via Brasil” on the Barclay label (45012). This brasilian trio recorded this album in Paris in 1975. It is a mixture of brasilian, scat vocals, latin, jazz and funk, which sounds a lot like Les Masques’ “Brasilian Sound” lp, except that this one has more uptempo moments. A great sounding lp that’s also club-friendly and highly danceable. The sleeve is in Very Good condition, it has a slight bit of ringwear, a smal inscription below the title, and some tiny scratches on the back, but those aren’t very noticeable. The record is in Very Good plus plus condition, extremely close to Near Mint, but due to some surface marks (which cannot be heard), I lowered the rating. It is in overall amazing shape, a very well preserved piece of brasilian music like no other.
