Very rare 1967 rocksteady LP TAKE IT EASY - Rock Steady with Hopeton Lewis. ISLAND ILP 957. All the proceeds of this sale will go to aid the Sam Beare Woking Hospice.

I use the following guide(below) to grade vinyl and do not sell anything below the categories listed below. This album plays very well with a few crackles here and there but most tracks play without any noticeable deterioration in sound quality, so it is very enjoyable too listen to. There are a few surface marks. I would grade it VG+ / EX-. The cover has signs of wear and tear, especially along right hand opening (see photos) but not so much that it affects the enjoyment of the sleeve.
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
