Another from my personal collection. A 1st issue,1st UK pressing from the awesome obscure group T2 released in 1970!! Barely played vinyl, original and totaly complete! One of my favourite albums, This album rocks! On initial inspection of the vinyl, it is obvious that this has barely ever been played and the playing surface is awesome almost like new in my opinion! Look, this features 1 to 1 Mother stampers, Earliest to be pressed from the original master, earliest for the best audio quality on vinyl! I have play tested the vinyl prior to listing at very loud volume! The audio is awesome and mega vibrant throughout. There are no loud clicks or pops, no distortion any static or interfearence is extreemely minimal on my systems. The 1st issue E. Day laminated front only cover is in excellent condition, no splits or tares with some light general rubbing/ring ware with age only and with the original stereo Decca poly lined record sleeve! This album is noted as a very rare to find, in fact the album has now been reissued and remastered on 180 gram vinyl it is so collectable! This obscure album has become very much sought after and highly collectable like this!

T2 evolved from an earlier band, Neon Pearl, which was led by their drummer, Pete Dunton!. Dunton was by 1968 a member of Please, which also included fellow Neon Pearl member Bernard Jinks. When that band broke up in 1969, due to Dunton's joining Gun alongside Adrian Gurvitz, Jinks became a member of Bulldog Breed!!.

T2 then formed when Dunton reunited with bassist Jinks, and late period Bulldog Breed guitarist, Keith Cross (born in 1952). The trio played a form of psychedelic or proto-prog rock, which was similar in content to that played by the earlier bands its members had been in!.

Recording It'll All Work Out In Boomland, the trio played a series of successful dates and returned to the studio to begin work on their follow-up. In 1972, while recording material for their second album, T2 disbanded due to internal conflict. The breakup caused the unfinished album to be shelved until the early 1990s, when redistribution of It'll All Work Out In Boomland sparked a brief T2 reunion, although without Keith Cross!.

The band now consisted of Dunton, Jinks and Moore. T2 released Second Bite (1992), Waiting For The Band (1993) and On The Frontline (1994). By the time Waiting For The Band was released, Jinks had left the group and Moore had shifted to bass to accommodate their new guitarist, Ray Lee.

The reformation of T2 did provide the chance for the band to complete the unfinished tracks from their original follow-up to It'll All Work Out In Boomland. Released in 1997 and titled Fantasy (it is also known simply as T2), this album is a companion to It'll All Work Out In Boomland, and is notable as most of the songs were written by the original line-up!!

The Vinyl

This is the original 1st issue thick and chunky slab of vinyl only found like this on the earliest pressings! The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warps! On initial inspection, it is hard for me to even see a blemish and it is quite obvious that this vinyl has had very very minimal play only! Only in very strong light could ,possibly any marks be seen on the playing surface, mostly sleeve removal only or minor blemishes, importantly there are no marks or needle scratches that would cause any loud, nasty clicks or pops and certainly no skips or jumps !

The Audio Quality

I have play tested the vinyl three times on a top system at very loud volume prior to listing! The audio is awesome throughout, cristal clear and very vibrant, in fact this was very near as good as it gets in my opinion. Please note, to be highly critical, only on side two, during a very quiet passage on a track I heard some very light isolated static ticks, but I must emphisise very light and only two or three in two places only, these were not loud annoying clicks or pops and nothing that spoilt the overall awesome audio experience in my opinion,, in fact I can't even see a mark that caused these at all! Please note, I play these vinyls at very loud volume on a top system and static seems to be enhanced on my system,, I have noticed that some systems  may not notice any static interfearence at all! I would class myself as highly critical, please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right! I would grade the audio on side one as near as perfect/near mint, and side two at least excellent plus, with just minor interfearence as previously described. Very rare to find like this!

Please note! I always add this disclaimer! I have given my honest opinion as usual on the audio quiality as I heard it and have played this vinyl at a very loud volume. Please allow for very light iasolated static/crackle/ticks (not) consistant throughout the audio. Please remember that this is a genuine 41 year old vinyl that would have originaly been played on a 41` year old system! Audio graded at least excellent plus  in my opinion!

This vinyl has been stored in a case laying dormant for over 30 years. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static crackle and ticks. A constant clean before each play is highly recomended, this will reduce any static and will enhance the audio quality!

The Record Sleeve

This is the original (Stereo) poly lined Decca sleeve! There are no splits or tares just light creasing/staining and becoming fragile with age only. The sleeve is now stored seperately from the vinyl!

The Cover

This is the 1st issue Laminated front only E.Day & Co. printed cover! There are no splits or tares and this is strong and straight! There is light general rubbing and ringware with age only and very light laminate creases only. All text is legable.
