Description

Syd Barrett's legendary 1969 UK Octopus / Golden Hair single on Harvest (HAR5009) in fantastic condition! Both sides have just a couple of light surface marks which DO NOT affect play at all, and are otherwise in great condition. I would rate at least EX, probably better than that. Great sheen and shiny, glossy vinyl! The labels on both sides are virtually perfect too. No stains, tearing, writing and virtually no spindle damage. I have personally owned this record since buying it off a dealer in the UK in the late 1970s and have NEVER played it until tonight when I wanted to check the condition. I doubt this has been played more than a handful of times in it's 41 year history!! Comes in its original Harvest comany sleeve. This rarely ever shows up for sale, and there can be few left in the world that can top the condition of this one. Absolute 100% genuine original top copy of Syd's only UK single. Due to its rarity, I will ship insured.
