 Sweetalk - Live - 1978 Rare Private Press SoCal Modern Soul Funk - ST 1001. Using Goldmine standards, the record grades a strong VG+ with only a couple slight sleeve scuffs - no scratches - there is some sort of a pressing defect on side one that does not affect playback at all. It looks like some sort of mottling effect, if you have seen this before on records. Cover grades at a strong VG+ - Original inner is NM.  Please see pictures for more detail.  If not for the side one mottling, touch of ring wear and slight corner bend, this record would confidently grade at NM. I suppose some would call this copy NM... 
*Play grades flawlessly NM front to back* A very enjoyable listen, and a really cool album that few people have heard. You can find Shake It Off on youtube, if you'd like to have a listen. It's certainly not the strongest track on the album, but at least there's one song on YT. 

Goldmine Grading:
Near Mint [NM or M-]: A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious sign of wear. An LP jacket has no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same is true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, and the like. Basically, Near Mint looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap.
Very Good Plus [VG+]: Shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration, but is should be barely noticeable. The center hole is not misshapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turn-up corners, or a slight seam-split. An LP jacket my have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount. In general, if not for a couple of minor things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint. All but the most mint-crazy collectors will find a Very Good Plus record highly acceptable.

Albums will be shipped removed from their cover and packed securely in record mailers. I will combine shipping for up to 5 records in one mailer at a cost of $3 each over the base price listed below. All records will be cleaned on a vacuum record cleaning machine before packaging and shipping.
