Ultra rare Nathan Bartell and the Shandells signed 45 ( refer to photos to authenticate). Classic Soul Funk "Moving On" A side & Sweet Soul Ballad "Sitting Alone" B side featuring Melvin Roberts smooth as silk vocals. Play & sight graded VG some light scratches and marks plays without skips or sticks light surface crackle in places still a very enjoyable copy. I recently bought a collection that was owned by a D.J. here in Georgia. I was very happy to find some very rare Nathan Bartell 45's in the box. Many of you may know of his classic "Top going down Bottom going up" which was listed in The World's Rarest Funk 45's vol.2. or "If I could win your love". I live here in Georgia and went on a mission to find this great Soul Man if he was still alive and I found him living about 2 hr.s from me. I spent a few hours with him. He was very gracious to sign some 45's for me that I had and shared some history of that time in Sweet/Modern Soul era in the south and the artists he knew. He does not even have a copy of this cut and said that only about 300-500 were pressed it was one of his first on this label. There are not many copies of this around and signed probably none except what I got. He is now 71 and a Minister. He is still singing with his gospel band when he can,sounding great. A worthy addition to any collection. I will include a reproduction of the signed promo photo and photo of him signing to winner. We are listing a lot of great soul 45's. We hope you enjoy the music.
