Description
V/A: "Badenfahrt 1967", Private Pressing, Switzerland/1967
Very rare 7" EP from 1967, featuring 2 dull folkloristic tunes AND 2 cool instrumentals by amateurish Swiss beat combos THE ANGELS ("Esther's Dance") & POR THOS ("Cordula Beat")! What a bizarre mix! - This record was released to promote the so called "Badenfahrt" of 1967, an official event to celebrate Switzerland's national train company. It was financed by dozens shops from the city of Baden and sold for the price of 5,- SFr. during a very short period. Its ambition was, as it says on the back cover, "to connect history with avantgarde". - Well, make your own decision...
