**RARE 1st PRESSING WITH BLACK AND GOLD LABELS**
Parlophone PMC 1202. (Matrix: XEX 421-1N / XEX 422-1N) Black and Gold Parlophone labels.
With "The Parlophone Co. Ltd" but without "Sold in the UK" label text. Side One label has 'Dick James Mus. Co.' credit for Ask Me Why and Please Please Me - see scan.
Ernest J. Day & Co laminated flipback sleeve with large "mono". Record also has the original poly-lined 'Emitex' inner sleeve.
Record: Very good condition. The record has some marks, but still retains a nice sheen and plays great, with no distortion and absolutely NO jumps. Sound-quality is nice and loud. Perfect labels with no damage or writing. Cover: VG+. No damage or rubbing to spine. No writing anywhere on cover. Front of cover is very nice with NO ringwear, back is nice and clean. Some wear to corners.
