It has howlin wolf, muddy waters and bo diddley jamming together! Pretty ignored upon its release in 1967, it is now considered a rarity since bringing together such a great blues men. (it has not been done all to often!)
The Super Blues recordings are recorded live in the studio and definitely give the listener that live experience. The Super Blues albums definitely groove. It feels like the best blues party you have been invited to in a long time!
Three distinctive artists with three distinctive styles and contributions to the genre seemingly having a blast riffing off each other and delivering some fine music.
The Super Blues albums are some of the best recordings of that era of blues spanning the mid 1960s--a must have in any blues collection !!
