PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE,  A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL  IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH  NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

graded VG++/EX- for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system

label: the black Caves label it's close to the perfection with maybe a couple of marks around the spindle hole and nothing else so EX-.
cover: the cover it's a front laminated one and does have a very minimal wear on front with just very short creases along the spine, an upper back edge slight wear and nothing else so a very very strong VG++ in my strict grade.
vinyl: the vinyl does have a very shining looking and does not have marks anyway and this private press plays very well  anyway a more close up of the guitar should be fantastic, the mixing it's all in this folk albums...if the musical quality exist of course...an EX- to my ears.
review: This is avery rare folk rock album discovered some years ago and I had the opportunity to listed it in a Brighton records shop and I buyed it for two hundred of pounds from a very respectable local private record hunter...that copy it's in some respectable collection now and here's another copy on offer and sincerelly I did not had the opportunity to see it very much 'til now....some lucky buyer had a chance to buy it for a very cheap price in ebay but the fact it's that this is a very rare album and the copies around us are very few, at least under my eyes...this is an EXCELLENT elettro-acoustic folk with great technical work of the electric guitar not surelly fuzz like in the Fresh Maggots album but more in Alan Holdsworth vein except in the track " Mystery Maker" where's more stronger and fuzzy ...the beautiful female vocal of Joan Evans give a superb contribution...gentle and very nostalgic folk,  religion inspired with sublime solos of Joan that it's like the honey in the milk...as in the beautiful "Giver Of Life"...the electric guitar solos are really superbly done and denote a very unusual technical ability  ... the better tracks are the ones where the male and female voice are alternate as in the simple but beautiful  "Blin Man"...I have listened this lp after maybe more than 10 years from the first time and I have to say that I'm impressed to his subtle but penetrating sound that I really appreciate...so don't miss this opportunity !!! ...because this is a very rare album and only God know when another copy comes up!
