Original 1979 strictly LIMITED EDITION LP pressing on translucent CHERRY-RED colored vinyl on the Mode Records label (MD.9017). Beautiful laminated cover complete with oval HYPE sticker and official manufacturer’s brown paper inner sleeve!


This compilation of The Kinks is supreme! One of the most highly skilled, prolific, influential, and sadly underrated bands of all-time. Led by the songwriter of songwriters, Ray Davies, and his younger brother Dave who single-handedly invented the power chord with his guitar riff for “You Really Got Me” which was later covered reverently by Van Halen.
