Description
This is one of the great Mercurys. It's a sonic wonder, and interesting music, but not likely to be reissued because Dorati was much more revered as a conductor than composer. But knowing how well he conducts other composers' music for sonic and musical effect you can see how much care he takes with his own music.
Both sides are RFR-2.
Album is clearly NM, bright with no problems. So is the original sleeve. The disc is thrilling. I'd grade it NM-- because I think with these early Mercury's we should not be forgiving, but use the highest standard. So there are just a few places, maybe 5 seconds over both sides, where you will hear artifacts over the music.
I'll ship appropriately, well packed, depending on location and whether foreign. I'd suggest some more appropriate means than Media Mail but we can discuss this.
