Description

A rarity for Apple label and Beatles completists, this is the legendary promotional 78 sent out to DJs such as myself in 1972: Saturday Night Special by the Sundown Playboys; catalogue Apple 44, matrix APPLE 78 44 A1U/B1U (somewhat indistinct so I hope I got that right).
The A side is clean and near-mint. The B side (Valse de Soleil Coucher) has some surface marks but I can't say whether they affect play as I never played this disc and I have had it from 'new'. I suspect they are a pressing artefact. I know I've listed it as 'used' but what else can you do for a 40 year-old piece of vinyl history!
Please note that this is a vinyl 78, not shellac, and it must NOT be played with a heavy pickup.
The sleeve is the original and is in mint condition.
The postage prices I quite include tracking and insurance but it's best if the winning bidder confirms shipping/postage with me before paying.
