Description
"Jaybird" LP by Sunburned Hand of the Man on QBICO (QBICO 08), limited edition, long out of print, NEW/UNPLAYED!
TRACK LISTING: Side A - Jaybird part I; Side B - Jaybird part II.
LABEL DESCRIPTION: "Paste-on covers, artworks by Chad Cooper, green vinyl with psychedelic red/yellow/black design, with insert liner notes by Byron Coley and concert poster 'A night for Naked Eardrums' SOLD OUT. The Wire--August 2003 issue 234 as part of the fascinating 'New Weird America' article: 'On later sides like the classic Jaybird, reissued on LP by QBICO, they take great lollops toward sustained form with an approach to rhythm that's as tactile and relentlessly rolling as Funkadelic, while a hallelujah chorus broadcast beat satori through sense-destroying levels of FX, buckets of locomotive percussion and distressed, swamp funk keyboards.' David Keenan. Voted as Album of the Month, December 2002, on Julian Cope's Head Heritage web site."
CONDITION: The beautiful green vinyl is new/unplayed. The two-sided insert is crisp, clean, and virtually perfect. The sleeve is lovely (albeit with slight creases at the corners and a barely visible band of ever-so-slight discoloration down the left-hand side of the front). The vividly colored paste-ons on both sides of the sleeve are as bright, colorful, and downright psychedelic as ever!
SHIPPING: $10.00 will cover USPS Priority Mail, insurance, and delivery confirmation in North America. $18.00 will cover Priority Mail and insurance to other parts of the world. (The LPs will be insured for the amount of the winning bid.) Returns for bid refund only if item is NOT as described.
PAYMENT: Payment must be made within five days of the close of the auction. PayPal, USPS money order, or cashier's check only. If you have questions, please contact me.
