LISTENING NOTES:
SIDE NOTE: To get my listening notes I played this on a Clearaudio Ovation TT (Hana SL Needle), through an Audio Research GSi 75 Tube Amp with Transparent Audio cables and Wilson Audio W/P 7 Speakers. My receiver has a MONO setting. I went back and forth between both mono and stereo settings in case someone buys this and does NOT have access to a MONO setting then they would hear more crackle with the stereo setting, but it should be played with the MONO setting and/or MONO needle since this is a MONO record.

Side 1

Song 1
Constant ticks and light bg noise to start the song off. Ticks continue well into the song all the way through the end. Overall enjoyable listening but the ticking does detract from the song and experience.

Song 2
Clear sound except constant ticking per rotation. Light bg noise as well. Good sound beyond the ticking but the constant ticking is still there and present throughout entirety of track. Ticking mellow out a bit but comes back up here and there. Piano and vocals sound nice as well as drums.

Song 3
Clicking and pops for intro. Light bg noise. Sax sounds amazing and full. The sound of the sax makes me not want to sell this and I understand why people collect these with such passion. The trumpet also sounds extremely analog and lovely! Best song so far no constant clicking and an excellent listening so far. Further into song there are some light clicks for 12 seconds or so. But sound overall is really nice and super enjoyable on this song. That sax is unbelievable. Fullest top to bottom sounding sax I have heard! Some minor light ticks come back later in song for approx 40 secs but these are very light. They go away and some more light ticks come back. Borderline detracts from music but very minor as a whole. Overall this is hands down the best sounding track of the record thus far.

Side 2

Song 1
Light bg crackles and some light ticks to start the song off. Constant ticks do come into play 45 secs into song or so. They are present all the way until just about the end , while some clicks are heavier it does die down to light clicks. It’s there but doesn’t detract fully from the listening experience especially in louder parts of the song. Nice sound minus the almost constant light to Med clicks and very light bg noise.

Song 2
Bass intro has some light pops and light bg noise. Drums come in and sound clear with just slight bg noise present. Some clicks here and there slightly developing into more constant clicks. Drums are loud so clicks don’t ruin the song. Bass comes in and there are still some constant pops/ticks present. Free jazz middle section is loud and sounds great but there are still some constant light ticks present. Sax sounds unreal and full. Absolutely lovely for that. Sounds clear up to just minor bg noise for heavy free jazz sax part and overall sounds very nice. Piano part has some constant ticks but they are very light overall. Lightest bg noise is still present til the end. A random click here or there but overall nice sound runs us to the end.

Song 3
Intro is clear and overall nice. Some light ticking is present but very very light. This clears up and then some more light ticking pops up. Minor bg noise throughout. Some  clicks pop up at very end of the song.
