Love In Outer Space - Live in Utrecht (LP, 1988) Leo Records LR 154 The Rare LP Version From The UK's Leo Records. LP is Gorgeous. Cover Has One Issue.
My lax Sun Ra listening habits are your gain. This vinyl is GORGEOUS. It looks unplayed, and rarely was. I guarantee (with your money back) that when you see this vinyl you'll say to yourself, "Hey, that guy was right!" 
The cover is also gorgeous... except for one thing. On the bottom on the back cover there is some degradation/damage. There's a close-up pic so you can see for yourself. It's not a BIG deal, obviously, but since everything else looks so nice and clean and shiny, it's a bit of a disappointment. Other than that, you'll be very pleased. Comes in one of Leo's typical plastic lined inner sleeves. Recorded Live In Utrecht on December 11th, 1983. Any questions, just ask. Pics are the actual item you're buying.

ALL MUSIC GUIDE REVIEW Another good live date courtesy of Leo Records, this one from December of 1983. This release is notable for both the fairly straight-ahead program and the fact that Sunny plays LOTS of piano as opposed to his synthesizers. In fact, there are no synthesizers heard until the "Love in Outer Space/Space Is the Place" medley, which is the last track. "Blues Ra" is a special treat; nearly five minutes of Ra playing a straight 12-bar blues on piano, accompanied by only a drummer and a bass player. Sound quality is quite good, and the band is in their usual fine form. As with the rest of the Sun Ra releases on Leo, well worth owning if you've already been bitten by the Sun Ra bug.
