Description
SUFJAN STEVENS - 'ILLINOISE' 2xLP
Here it is: An rare original copy of Sufjan Stevens' 'Illinoise' 2xLP with the original Superman cover.
The story of this pressing is well-known—when 'Illinoise' was first issued, it contained an image of Superman in the cover art. Due to copyright issues, all original copies of 'Illinoise' had to be recalled, with a balloon sticker placed over some copies of the initial pressing for shipping to stores. 'Superman' copies of this LP are getting harder and harder to find. This copy has the balloon sticker, showing no signs of attempted peeling.
This copy is in beautiful, near mint condition, and appears untouched and unplayed. Triple gatefold cover has no rips, tears, writing, flaws or visible wear. Vinyl is pristine NM. Comes with full-color insert.
High bidder pays $4.00 Media Mail shipping or $8.00 Priority Mail shipping in the U.S. $8.00 to Canada, $12.00 to Europe, $14.00 to Asia and Australia. Insurance at option and expense of buyer; international insurance available. I have been selling records for 20 years, and use professional cardboard mailers and flats to ship records. Please see my feedback for a long list of satisfied record buyers, and feel free to write with any questions. Thanks!
