VAN MORRISON Astral Weeks 1968 Orange Label FIRST PRESS WS 1768 VAN MORRISON Astral Weeks 1968 Orange Label FIRST PRESS This is a UK First pressing, on the orange Warner Brothers label, of Van's sublime masterpiece, Astral Weeks. It should not be confused with the much more common green label Warner Brothers edition. Released in 1968 to critical acclaim but to public apathy, this record regularly comes in Top ten lists of the Greatest albums ever made. The fact that on it's original release it sold very few copies, has perversely cemented the legend of Van the Man's genius. Consequently this first pressing is VERY sought after.
