About This Record. This is an original first pressing (nice enough) USA copy of The Chocolate Watch Band's first LP entitled "No Way Out" that was released in MONO format on Tower Records.  This is the first pressing with "cursive" writing on the labels, and non-BMI credits for most of the songs.  The Second but original pressings were on the more red label and all songs had BMI copyrights.  This has a stereo cover, but is the original mono version of the LP.  This band was from San Jose, California. Cover Condition: Very Good Minus (VG-).  The STEREO Cover has two pieces of Tape on the top seam, and one piece of tape on the bottom seam.  There is a small tear on the opening edge at one o'clock.  Corner rubs and wear. The spine has rubs and splitting for about 1/2 inch at top and bottom of seams. This is not a mono cover, it is a STEREO cover.  Please see all my Photos.  I didn't take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition: Strong Very Good (VG).  This looks EX but one mark on Gossamer's Wings that does not affect play at all.  But the rest of the LP has intermittent pops and clicks even though the LP looks EX but for the Gossamer's Wing inconsequential mark.  But. true to the original pressing, there are a few intermittent pops and clicks.  No skips or jumps or sticks of course and no reason to suspect that from looking.  The visual grade (again) is close to EX.

Labels. Excellent (EX) labels. Light spindle wear.  Please look at my photos in case I missed something.

Inserts: Comes with original plain white (now brown) paper inner sleeve, but no worries, it also comes cleaned in a new rice paper Mo-Fi inner sleeve.

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
