Stravinsky Petrushka Ansermet UK Decca SXL 2011 WBG

 

The Suisse Romande Orchestra conducted by Ernest Ansermet performs Stravinky’s “Petrushka”.  An English stereo pressing on the Decca Label (SXL 2011 stampers 2E/3E), the labels are black with a full frequency stereophonic stereo “fatband” and logo, original recording by… at 10 o’clock and a groove. The record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb (stunning recording) with only occasional low-level surface noise. The cover has slight rubbing to the laminate and a hint of a ring and  is in excellent condition. The back has cut-out fold-overs.
