Description

I'm currently in the process of downsizing my extensive collection of classical LPs.  This is likely my most prized LP. 

Also Sprach Zarathustra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fritz Reiner, LSC-1806, first pressing.  One of the rarest of the RCA Shaded Dog classical LPs.  This legendary 1954 recording, one of the first stereo recordings by the RCA recording team. 

First pressing 1S/1S with first-generation A1 mother metal masters.  Disc is NM, with excellent surfaces with some occasional clicks. Jacket is NM- with the beginnings of a 1" seam split on the upper right-hand corner.  Original pink promo sticker.  LP has been cleaned with a high-quality RCM and enclosed in an audiophile-quality poly sleeve.  Also includes original RCA promo inner sleeve.

This disc sounds superb, with that warm vintage tube-mastered RCA sound.  I have many later pressings of this recording, and none sound this good.
