Description

Amarillo Records #AM-586, 1994. As-new jacket & paper record-envelope, as-new record (original owner, played once with diamond stylus, no apparent scratches, surface defects, or finger/hands contamination).
Anton Szandor LaVey was a extremely talented concert organist who kept two Wurlitzers in his San Francisco home: one in the Main Ritual Chamber upstairs, one in the Den of Iniquity downstairs. His wife Diane and I badgered him unmercifully for years to record some classical selections, but he never did. In the 1980s Anton acquired a set of electronic keyboards for the Red Room, which at least to my ear sounded like amateur Hammond chord organs. After his separation from Diane and the move-in of Sharon "Blanche Barton" Densley, Anton recorded this embarrassingly horrible album on those keyboards, with Densley contributing her singing, such as it is. I know this record was played only once, because that's all I could stand. - Michael Aquino

Nevertheless it's apparently become something of a collector's item, with copies in decent condition bringing around $50 when they show up on the Internet. I'll ask $75 for this "as new" one and consider offers.
