Recently purchased, from a leftover 1930's dealer's

stock, is this Viva-Tonal Race Columbia 14219-D done by

Blues legend Bessie Smith & Her Blue Boys entitled

"Alexander's Ragtime Band" and "There'll Be A Hot Time

In The Old Town Tonight."

Both sides are great and right off the charts!


Recorded in New York City on March 2, 1927, the record

is in lovely excellent-plus (E+) condition and is in

the original Viva-Tonal sleeve!
