Recently purchased, from a leftover 1930's dealer's stock, is this Columbia 3148-D done by Mills Blue Rhythm Band.
The songs are "In A Sentimental Mood" and "Carry Me Back To Green Pastures." Red Allen is on trumpet, J.C Higginbotham on trombone, with sax solos. Chuck Richardson sings the vocal refrain on both sides.
Both sides were done in NYC on August 11, 1936.
The record is in lovely excellent-plus (E+) condition and is in the original sleeve.
