Description

Genre/Style:  Classical Golden Age of Stereo

This album is from a wonderful collection of audiophile records built up over 30 years by a high-end audio custom install specialist.  Each unsealed record has been cleaned with "Disc Doctor Miracle Record Cleaner", inspected in bright sunlight & placed in a new HDPE inner sleeve.

Cover Condition is Very Good (VG).  Cover has splits along spine and bottom opening, moderate edge wear, light ring wear.

Vinyl Condition is Near Mint (NM).  Vinyl is black & shiny.  Surfaces are practically without a blemish, nearly perfect with a few slight paper scuffs per side (only visible in very bright light at an angle).  The labels are also NM.

Vinyl Play Evaluation:  This is a truly excellent example of a beautiful recording and pressing.  It captures all the drama of Stokowski & RCA Victor Orchestra's performance.  There is a very low level of surface noise noticable in the quiet passages. 

I use play grading to supplement the visual grade.  Playback varies by setup; I am using a Linn LP12/Ekos/Benz Glider high output  cartridge.

Grading:  I follow the Goldmine Record Grading Standard (Cover/Vinyl) with the addition of EX to indicate something in between VG+ and NM. VG(+) is a low VG+. A VG+ record will not disappoint.

Shipping:  Records are shipped in an oversized extra sturdy cardboard mailer, with cardboard sheets and other insulating padding.

US Shipping via Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation: $4.00 for the first LP, add $.75 for each additional LP.  I am always happy to combine orders!

International Shipping Available via USPS First Class International Package.  Cost varies a little by location.
