Rigid Digits cat. no: SRD-1
'A' side: Suspect Device; 'B' side: Wasted Life.
This disc plays well with little surface noise; visually, there are no obvious blemishes.
The sleeve is in good condition, with no fraying - the disc has worn through both the bottom and the top, although this is quite clean; the back has yellowed slight. There is very minor embossing from the disc label on both sides. The 'B' side has a hand-written '2', in common with all of this first batch of discs. Also supplied will be the badge that was issued with some of the first batch; these are uncommon - I have never seen a similar one.
Disclaimer: every effort has been made to assess the condition of this vinyl record fairly. However, any such assessment is very subjective and, as vinyl enthusiasts will know, the audibility and intrusiveness of surface noise in the form of clicks and pops is dependent on the equipment the disc is played on. As a general rule, ‘B’ sides will suffer more from surface noise of all sorts than ‘A’ sides, and E.P.s (or singles with longer than usual running times) more than normal singles. ‘Embossing’ is where the raised surface of the disc label has caused marks forming a circle on the sleeve.
