Description

You are viewing the following item:

Artist: Stiff Little Fingers

Item:  this is a draft manuscript of a Stiff Little Fingers book. The manuscript was written by Keith Bateson and Alan Parker, and with full cooperation with Jake Burns. The manuscript includes 48 pages of typed information and is held together by a plastic ‘binder’ with a plastic protective front and rear panel.

Jake Burns (SLF singer & guitarist)

Henry Cluney (SLF guitarist 1977 – 1982)

Ali McMordie (SLF bassist 1977 – 1983)

Dave Sharp (The Alarm, guitarist)

Bruce Foxton (The Jam, SLF bassist 1987 – 2006)

Keith Bateson (book author)

Alan Parker (book author)

Russell Emmanuel (producer)

Dolphin Taylor (SLF drummer 1982 – 1983)

The signatures have all been written in light blue / grey felt -style pen and thick black felt=style pen. The page 2 of the manuscript is signed across the page (there is no page one) and are assessed by me to be 6.5/10 – 10/10 in definition and quality (see pictures).

Condition: Overall assessment of the circa thirty-one-year-old manuscript is excellent condition, but with significant age yellowing to the manuscript paper used (see photos).  This is a super rare manuscript and provides detailed insight into the band’s activities from 1977 onwards.
