This is not a re-issue. I have had this for quite a few years. Long before the re-issue came out. It is still Sealed. There are some areas where the shrink wrap has split a little, and there is a little wear to the cover in these areas.
The following paragraph is from someone else's listing of this same record, which sold a couple years ago.
"Insanely rare original pressing of Stevo's funk masterpiece Musica Negra. The album's producer, the legendary Calvin Arnold, estimated "Just 50 copies of the original LP were spread in 1978". Stevo Milner, the drummer on the LP, supposedly was a cocaine runner between Miami (the location of the Oliva Cantu label and Oscar Oliva Cantu's own cocaine interests) and Atlanta where the album was recorded and mixed. The tight funk grooves of the album feature some of the finest names of the Atlanta sound, including Curt Mitchell, Tommy Stewart, J.D. Morris and Harry Case."
I am trying to raise money for my daughter, who has leukemia, so I am selling some of my better records. I have not been selling for over a year, but, now that she is improving I have some time to sell things. Occasionally, there may be a slight delay (one, or two days) if we have a hospital visit scheduled.
