Description

An original 1st press of VISIONS on UK Tamla. Matrix A5/B2. For 1st pressing the labels MUST exhibit 'Gramophone' in the perimeter text. This was discontinued soon after this title was released. Worth going for these copies as they were pressed heavier. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover with the left side sealed - which forms a nice solid opening panel. Also included is a generic inner from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. There are a couple of light marks per side, one superficial trail per side - but nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. If you're a big fan of this title - you need to hear it on a decent 1st pressing. Stevie quite possibly at his creative peak. Very little background observable at all. A couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. Can't knock it. 
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wow - just try finding another example looking this good! This is a soft card original and is extremely difficult to find looking anywhere near this well preserved. Firstly, two things are absent  - ageing and surface wear. I cannot begin to tell you how unusual that is. Colour retention is excellent - super preservation. Surfaces inside and out are perfectly flat and smooth - they have certainly never been in contact with damp. The openings panel is quite fragile and very prone to damage - but this example is superbly preserved. Minimal edge wear - this is very unusual. The spine is 100% intact and totally white without wear. I can tell you that would be almost impossible to replicate. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. FINAL UPGRADE.
