Description

The 2006 vinyl reissue of Porcupine Trees psychedelic debbut remains the best edition because it features detailed liner notes by Steven Wilson that are not on the Snapper edition.

This is a brand new unplayed copy of the Dutch Headspin Edition . Only 1000 made of this edition (on top of the 2000 copies of the original Delerium edition).

Lovely thick card gatefold sleeve with silky plastic coating. Steven Wilson explains the creation of the album in his liner notes.   

This copy was owned by Richard Allen who signed Porcupine Tree to Delerium and manage the band up until 2003.

ON THE SUNDAY OF LIFE

On the Sunday of Life is the debut album by Porcupine Tree, first released in July, 1992. It compiles tracks that Steven Wilson produced and recorded for two cassette-only releases, Tarquin's Seaweed Farm (1989) and The Nostalgia Factory (1991).

Most of the lyrics were written by Alan Duffy, the founder of Imaginary Records and a pen friend with whom Steven Wilson had lost touch a few years before the album was released. The album title was chosen from a long list of nonsense titles compiled by Richard Allen of Delerium.

This second version of the album was only produced in an edition of 1000 copies.
