Up for bids is this SIGNED Steve Vai LP – FLEX-ABLE. On the cover is the inscription (with grammatical errors left in):

The reference to “8th record” is significant. This LP was his solo debut and he recorded & released it, all on his own! To sell it he went to a local record store in LA and did some signings. THIS WAS THE EIGHTH SIGNATURE EVER! Authenticated by Vai himself!
Also, please note the cover color. Later, Epic re-released it in 1987 with the full color cover everyone is familiar with. BUT I BET YOU WON’T FIND ANOTHER white-blue-yellow cover!

Also the ORIGINAL PROMOTIONAL FLYER by Steve Vai is included! (pink paper in Pics) It has the album lyrics on oneside and verbiage on an offer for a companion 10” LP called “Flexable Leftovers” on the other. Its obviously written by Vai as its done in the First Person!

Lastly CHECK THIS OUT, AUDIOPHILES: On the vinyl itself on side “ABLE”, near the label where the MFG inscribes the LP#, side, etc., is also handwritten/etched “First Disk 1-31-84 with love to Pia”. (see pic below) Does that explicitly imply that this truly is the VERY FIRST DISC PRESSED?!!! (gave ME the goose-bumps the first time I saw it!). Also side “FLEX” has “In God I Trust” in a similar position!
