Description
Condition: VG+/VG
Here is a very rare private press Christian Rock album from Steve Powell. He was a member of the Christian Psych band Rainbow Promise. It is released on the same label, New Wine Records out of Flora, Illinois. It takes a bit mellower approach to that album overall, except for the song "I Wanna Live" which would fit in perfectly on the Rainbow Promise LP. It gets a good review from Ken Scott in his Archivist book. The songs are: Gonna Take A Trip, It Doesn't Have To Be, Revelation, Freedom, I Wanna Live, Excites Me, Excites Me, I Love Jesus, The King's Lady, Come Back Home, Psalm 61.
This particular record is a mispress- the labels on side one and side two are flipped, meaning side one's label plays the track listings of side two, and vice versa. The record is in VG+ condition, with one scuff on side two that causes a pop during the run in, and there is one scratch on the track Revelation that creates quiet popping halfway through. The label is clean with spindle markings. Sleeve is in VG+ condition, with shelf wear and strong seams.
All items are shipped with thick polymer outer sleeves, and records are shipped outside of the jacket to prevent damage. Every record has been hand-cleaned and both visually inspected and play-tested for grading. Note that these items are cross-posted on Discogs, so if it disappears from here, chances are it sold over there! Thank you for looking, and contact me with any questions.
