Description
Steve Miller Band ?– Children Of The Future / Living In The U.S.A. SEALED 1st Press 1974 USA 2LP Set
This is the Sealed 1st Press 2 LP Set by Steve Miller Band titled "Children Of The Future / Living In The U.S.A.". At First I though they just slapped 2 LP's together and put them out. Actually these are custom covers for this set only, To make it so both covers face out when they are back to back they had to put the opening on "Living" on the opposite side so that when you hold the record the opening is on the left instead of the right. Weird huh? The "Doubleplay" OBI is on the outside of the shrink. Pretty cool and SUPER RARE Set!! The LP was released in USA on Capitol (SF-715, SF-719) Records in 1974.
LP contains the following 21 tracks:
Children Of The Future A1. Children Of The Future 2:58, A2. Pushed Me To It 0:36, A3. You've Got The Power 0:55, A4. In My First Mind 7:31, A5. The Beauty Of Time Is That It's Snowing 5:23, B1. Baby's Callin' Me Home Harpsichord – Ben Sidran 3:24, B2. Steppin' Stone 3:02, B3. Roll With It 2:29, B4. Junior Saw It Happen 2:29, B5. Fanny Mae 3:11, B6. Key To The Highway 6:18, Living In The U.S.A. C1. Song For Out Ancestors 5:57, C2. Dear Mary 3:35, C3. My Friend 3:30, C4. Living In The U.S.A. 4:03, D1. Quicksilver Girl 2:40, D2. I was the owner of an independent record store in Seattle for almost 20 years and the majority of these items were pieces I put aside during that time for my personal collection. It kills me to sell some of these rare items, but I have gone back to college (at 47!) and need the money for tuition. All my Items are legitimate retail product, no bootlegs or pirates.
All photos/scans are of my actual items. I do not use found or stock photos; what you see is what you get. Thanks for looking!
