Steve Lacy Quartet  ' Sortie '  MIURA LP 10002 on labels and GTA LP 1002 on cover  -  super-rare 1966 original Italian issue. Steve Lacy : soprano sax  -  Enrico Rava : trumpet  - Kent Carter : bass   -  Aldo Romano : drums  Side A :  Sortie  -  Black Elk Side B : Elmy - Fork New York - Living T. Blues - 2-Fou All compositions by Steve Lacy This a very hard-to-find copy of one of the best free jazz album I ever heard. Issued in 1966 by GTA this copy has the label Miura Lp 10002 and the cover GTA Lp 1002 because the label Miura was made for Export while the label GTA for Italian market only. However of this Lp were printed in few hundreds copies only,  both for Italy and for export. I suppose that MIURA labels were printed in the same time of GTA or few months later. This is a very rare and beautiful free jazz record for Steve Lacy's fans.        Visual grading : record is EX+ because has some very light surface marks caused by original plastic inner sleeve but plays strongly well with no defects. Cover is EX+ with some very small bumps at the corners and also lamination has some small bubbling but nothing serious.
