Background: Jackrabbit Slim was Steve Forbert's major-label breakthrough on Nemperor/CBS (1979). "Romeo's Tune" reached the Top 20 and Forbert was widely hailed as a new Dylan — earning him a Rolling Stone cover. The album stands as one of the finest American singer-songwriter records of the era. This early US pressing was mastered at Sterling Sound and pressed at one of the Columbia pressing plants.
The Oil Song 7": A one-sided promo single (33⅓ RPM) packaged only with early copies of Jackrabbit Slim. Many of these singles had defects, making a good copy hard to find and this one is autographed!
COndition:
LP Jacket: VG — light creasing, corner wear, some indentation marks on rear bottom corner. Solid, displayable copy.
LP Vinyl: VG+ — surface marks and small scratches visible under light. Tested and plays well with minor surface noise only. No skips. Plays almost like new.
LP Inner Sleeve: VG+ — original generic sleeve, minor wear only.
7" Sleeve: Good — some rips/tears, intact, autographed by Steve Forbert (see photos).
7" Vinyl: VG+ — playing side clean; blank side also autographed by Steve Forbert.
