Description
Stereophonics Looks Like Chaplin white label promo test pressing 7" vinyl single.
Two track vinyl single test pressing, Looks Like Chaplin and More Life In A Tramps Vest. Plain white labels in a custom stamped white sleeve. Released on V2 Records in 1996. Discogs suggests this was limited to about 50 copies though I don't this is officially confirmed anywhere.
Catalogue number SPH1. (Same as the commercial release).
Condition:
Vinyl: Excellent - this has been played a few times at home then kept in my collection. The b-side has a couple of visible mark that I've tried to capture in the photos. Before listing I played this side and the record does not skip and there was one 'pop' towards the end.
Sleeve: Excellent - the white sleeve is paper and so shows slight creasing from storage.
Please check out a couple of other rare Sterophonics I have listed from my collection.
I spent the mid-nineties, and up to 2001 working and managing record stores in the UK. As a result of this I received many promotional items from the reps of the record companies or through the post direct from the record companies or the distributors. I can therefore confirm that this item is the original item that was issued at the appropriate time.
If you have any further questions about the item then please contact me before bidding and I’ll supply any additional information that I can. I’ll usually respond within 24 hours, though I cannot be sure of answering questions in the final few hours of the listing.
I always obtain proof of postage and if you want to have more security then please pay the extra which covers Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery with the Royal Mail.
All records are packaged in strong cardboard die cut mailing boxes with stiffener pads to ensure rigidity during transit and the record reaches you in the same condition that I post it.
Due to the nature of the packaging I can send more than one item in a box and therefore offer postage discounts on multiple items. Drop me a line about specific items and I’ll work out combined shipping costs.
All records and sleeves are graded based on the system used by Record Collector magazine. https://rarerecordpriceguide.com/condition-rating
I try to be as honest as I can about the condition of an item and if you look at my feedback you’ll see that I get it right.
If you win an item and disagree with my grading then please contact me first, before leaving feedback, in order to try and resolve. All items are from a smoke-free, pet-free home.
