Steppenwolf  "The Second"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Dunhill 50037  from 1968.    This was their second great album.     It has the original foil like cover with purple edges.      What a great record.    It hass the huge hit single : 'Magic Carpet Ride', which starts with feedback.    It has the cool drug song : 'Don't Step On The Grass Sam'.    There are two the other classics : 'Faster Than The Speed Of Life' and '28'.      Plus side two has a long collage of songs that starts with 'Disappointment Number Unknown and ends with Hodge Podge Strained Through a Leslie'.      What a great record.   ( except for 'Spiritual Fantasy' which is terrible )        This album is so good that it's hard to find in mint condition.

The cover is Mint with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits.   It's still in the original shrink wrap.     (there is a one inch tear in the shrink on the top right edge )      The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint.    The labels are perfect with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.    One sheet is 5/8 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard.   The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard.   Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic album sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 8 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office changes.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 24 ounces ( 1 pound, 8 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and a email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
