This auction is for a stock copy of Dave Dudley's earliest release: "Cry Baby'" backed with "Careless Fool" on the very collectable STARDAY record label. This record was released in 1958 as catalog # STARDAY 45-364. This is one of the single most sought after early Starday singles...
Following examination under a bright light source, I have graded this record a slight touch above VG on both the "Cry Baby" side and the flip "Careless Fool" side. Both sides display playable surface scuffing and wear to the center label. Someone did a great deal of writing (in ball-point pen ink) on the "Cry Baby" center label. The person wrote the word "cracked"...this record is NOT CRACKED. It plays through wonderfully as you can hear for yourself.
