Up for bid is a factory-sealed copy of Mr. Natural by Stanley Turrentine, from the Blue Note Tone Poet Audiophile Vinyl Reissue Series. This 180-gram LP is mastered all-analog from the original master tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio, produced by Joe Harley, and pressed at RTI. Recorded on September 4, 1964 at Rudy Van Gelder’s studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey and first released in 1980, it features Stanley Turrentine on tenor saxophone, Lee Morgan on trumpet, McCoy Tyner on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, Elvin Jones on drums, and Ray Barretto on congas, with tracks including Wahoo (aka Stanley’s Blues), Shirley, Tacos, My Girl Is Just Enough Woman For Me, and Can’t Buy Me Love.
