This is Blue Note Records BST 84201, Stanley Turrentine Joyride, a blue and white, New York USA deep groove label original stereo issue of this wonderful record with Van Gelder and the Ear (P) stamped in the dead wax. This is a very rare deep groove pressing. In fact the Fred Cohen Blue Note guide does not mention the existence of a deep groove for this record. The record is in near mint condition, showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The original cover, with the 43 West 61st. St., New York 23 address, is excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent, collector's grade copy of this classic original Blue Note with all the proper markings in place. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders.
