Description

Verve MGV-8263 Getz, tenor sax and Baker, trumpet appear to be co-leaders in this 1957 session. This is the first time they recorded together. It includes a Chicago rhythm section with Jodie Christian, piano; Marshall Thompson, drums; Vicgtor Sproles, bass. 4 tracks which include 1 track as a medley of 3 standards, Hard-To-Find.

Cover: VG+ 9" top edge split. Some light aging along a very narrow line that follows this split. The aging is relatively minor. Very light aging on the back cover and even less on the front cover.

Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Possibly played obnly a few times. No markings on the vinyl surface. There is a few, short, light, infrequent clicks. These are barely audible. I have accounted for them in the VG++ part of the overall rating. This is minimal noise and the record could be considered close to Mint. Audibly checked.
