Stan Getz Quintet LP "Interpretations", Columbia / England label # 33CX, 10057, 1954 First release of UK issue of the rare 1954 6-track mono LP, first vinyl LP on a white, black w/ red logo Columbia label. ( VERY ) Near mint disc
This LP was looked over and graded condition by legendary rare record dealer Bob Jenniker, owner of famous "Park Ave. Records" in Seattle, Wa....He graded the LP Mint, and the jacket near mint, except for small 3/8" tear, on one corner edge ( see close up detail photo ) and bottom border of back of LP cover is slightly "browned" w/ age, up approx. 1/4" deep...Not much...a VERY clean example. The Norgram and Verve label versions of this LP are pretty easy to find...the Columbia label is not. LP is crispy shiny...doesn't look like it was played much, if at all. The English Thin glossy LP Jacket is still shiny, with very little rub...these wear fast, and this example just did not get handled over the years. Guess the owner wasn't a Getz fan.... Values on this are all over the place...I have seen version this sell for $75.00..&...$150.00 ....... We will put up on auction for much less..
