DESCRIPTION:
One for serious collectors and available for the first time ever on eBay, we are pleased to offer the original studio ACETATE of the Mod revivalist / Power Pop group Squire “My Mind goes round in circles” backed with “Does Stephanie know” recorded in 1980 at the ‘Tape 1’ Studios.
Squire’s first break came when they supported The Jam at their hometown concert in Surrey, July 1978. No big surprises here as the band were also from Woking. They went on to record several 45’s and one LP. The tracks on this studio Acetate were not featured on their only LP and have been made infamous on numerous comps subsequently.

CONDITION:
A note on grading, items described with sound clips as above have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 Turntable with an SME 132s and Koetsu CartridgeWe have been collecting and trading records for many years and genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase. For this reason we treat grading very seriously and as our feedback suggests conservatively.
Acetate:
The hand written labels display well no colour loss, rips, stains, or stickers, light foxing only. The Acetate has received very few plays and is still loud and without distortion (Acetate sound quality deteriorates very rapidle with repeated plays). Some acetyl bloom visible in the run off, (does not effect play) has a solid sheen. The flat acetate coated metal disks playing surfaces under direct angled light display the lightest non-audible paper scuffs – Please listen to the clips above for a clear sense of sound grade. Condition grade = solid EX (Excellent)
