Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

 

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

 

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

• Artists included on these albums are the Doobie Bros. James Taylor, Carly Simon, Bette Midler, Linda Ronstadt, Ernie and Cookie Monster, Dr. John, George Benson, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Loggins, Teddy Pendergrass, Lou Rawls and more. See the track listings below.
• These two compilation albums are Promotional Copies that were released one year apart and they feature tracks not available on these artists other albums. Bruce's "Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town" is the exception.
• There are gold foil Promo stamps on each album cover.
• Both single-piece board covers have tight seams and show no wear.
• The inner sleeves have lyrics and credits.
• These are one-owners that the Seller got new from Warner Bros. and Columbia records in 1980 and 1981. They have been in storage for 38 years.
