Split Enz ORIG OZ LP True colours (Blue) EX ’79 Mushroom L37167 New wave
Original OZ LP released in 1979 on Mushroom Records. Cat: L37167. This is the blue cover edition.
Split Enz found their place in new wave with True Colours, shedding the eccentricities and excesses of their past in favor of bright, highly memorable, Beatlesque pop. The album also marked Neil Finn's emergence as a great songcraftsman his infectious "I Got You" helped to push the album and the band to international success. Both the single and the album stand as high points of the new wave era.
Tracks : Shark attack/ I got you/ What’s the matter with you/ Double happy/ I wouldn’t dream of it/ I hope I never/ Nobody takes me seriously anyway/ Missing person/ Poor boy/ How can I resist her/ The choral sea. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. There are some pencil marks on label. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Cover has some ring wear, small surface tears around edges and some light marks and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
