A true Victor dance band and personality rarity.. one side is "Seeing The World's Fair" by comedians Wheeler & Woolsey, and the reverse is "A Century Of Progress March" by Rudy Vallee and his Connecticut Yankees. for the Chicago World's Fair, A Century Of Progress. No catalog number on this rare pressing, the Victor matrix numbers appear where a catalog number would normally appear. Recorded in mid-1934, and pressed circa August-September 1934, this record could only be obtained at the RCA Pavilion at the World's Fair during the last weeks of the fair (it closed in late October). . The Wheeler & Woolsey side was recorded specially for this pressing. The Rudy Vallee side is listed in all discographies as "Rejected" and unissued,... but here it is. No Rudy Vallee collection can be complete without this rarity. . Condition E- plays very well .. some label wear, as noted in label photos.
