Sparklehorse - Box Of Stars: The Sparklehorse Collection
This is a fantastic example of this extremely limited, out of print box-set release which includes all four of Sparkehorse's non-collaborative studio albums in exclusive, high-quality vinyl editions not available outside of this release. 1995's Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot, 1998's Good Morning Spider and 2001's It's A Wonderful Life are all pressed as double LPs for the very first time (previous vinyl releases were single LPs) with the fourth sides of each title etched with bespoke art. 2006's Dreamt For Light Years In The Belly Of A Mountain is on one LP and all four titles are newly remastered.
The seven vinyl LPs included in this set are all as-new and unplayed (though, for the purposes of complete honesty, it has been listed as 'Used' because it is no longer sealed), however please note that there have been some quality control issues with this release, meaning that some of the LPs may have some degree of audible surface noise at some points when played on certain audio systems. Likewise, many records commonly display some minor warping from new and, as such, these discs may display slight warps that do not affect audio.
Although this box set has been opened, it remains in its original shrinkwrap with hype sticker still in tact. The individual albums were never shrinkwrapped.
There are partial seams splits on the various LP covers, none of which have fully broken through the cardboard apart from one (on the spine of It's A Wonderful Life). There is seam split on the spine of Vivadixie... roughly 5cm in length, a seam split on Good Morning Spider roughly 4cm in length, a seam split on It's A Wonderful Life roughly 5cm in length and a seam split on the top seam of Dreamt For Light Years... roughly 3cm in length. Please note that there are also some stress marks around the spindle holes on the etched sides of Good Morning Spider and It's A Wonderful Life.
