I will be listing 100's of cd's and lp's over the coming weeks,many are rare and out of print.
Hard to find Blues,Jazz,Psych,Progressive,original TMOQ vinyl as well.Please have a look at my other items
Some call this the HOLY GRAIL of Gospel Blues lp's.Released in 1975 on Advent Records #2805,Absolutely 100% original.Has never been reissued on lp or cd."Sorrow Come Pass Me Around" A Survey Of Rural Black Religious Music.
Includes songs by Robert "Nighthawk"Johnson,Babe Stovall,Reverend Rubin Lacy,and more.16 tracks in all.Near impossible to find any info on this lp, all we know is that the music is incredible,have a look for yourself around the net,I cannot find any record of sale of this lp anywhere,if you can I would appreciate you sending me a link.Check youtube for a couple of audio samples.
Cover is VG+,slight ringwear to front,a couple of slightly bent corners,top seam has 3/4 inch split,some areas where the original glue on back cover slick are coming up a bit,weak glue job at the plant it looks like.Original 10 pages booklet is included and is Near Mint.
Vinyl on side 1 is close to Near Mint,some sleeve marks can be seen if held at correct angle under light.Side 2 is VG+,looks like the lp was set down on top of the cover at some point so there is a bit of an imprint.
I have just listened to this lp and it plays Near Mint all the way through,there is nothing that I would call a pop or even crackle,maybe some very low level noise on the quietest parts.
Having said all of that,of all of the records I am listing,this is the one which I am putting a reserve on,if it does not sell it will not be relisted,it will stay with me.Here is your shot at one of the greatest and rarest Country/Rural/Christian/Gospel/Fife&Drum/ Blues lp's on earth.
